A Promise

Ok I promised Judith I would post a picture of Hayden. Bryan took Carter skiing yesterday. As they were getting ready to leave, Hayden still in his pj top (no bottoms) put on his snow boots and headed out on the porch. He didn't get far before he turned around and said "COLD".

Carter was given the choice of buying a toy he REALLY wanted or going skiing. He said "I guess I don't really need that toy"

The news from the slopes, Carter did GREAT! Bryan even took some video. Carter was going down the black diamonds by the middle of the day with no harness! (Good thing mommy wasn't there!) The video was quite funny and impressive. They decided to stop when Carter went off a "jump" they had been going off all day and ran SMACK into a pole! (It was padded so he wasn't hurt.) One other funny thing is that in the video when Carter is trying to go faster he swings his arms forward and backward really fast. Bryan said it took all day for him to realize that Carter was trying to act like the other skiers with their poles. It was sooo funny because he did it every time he wanted to go faster.

That's all for now. Hayden keeps crying for me! I sure hope he doesn't throw up tonight. Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that they ALWAYS seem to get sick in the middle of the night! Hopefully it's just a cold or even better only bad dreams!
