5 things

So it's been a pretty boring week... which I am SOOO OK with.. "excitement" isn't always necessary around here! A few things have happened that are interesting...

1) We signed Carter up for FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) baseball. This will be our first organized activity for our kiddos... it has begun! Next year he will be old enough for Optomist Soccer (his real love)! SO life will be even busier!

2) I have had the sinus cold junk that is going around... YEAH! OH well it could be worse - so I'll deal with the cold!

3) It SNOWED last night ... about an inch! I'm so ready for all this snow and cold to be over... BUT not quite ready for summer!

4) We have the opportunity to get "new" cabinets for our kitchen! Some were donated to the camp! So hopefully we will be able to replace the ones we have soon! (I'm also hoping to get our door replaced too! - We actually had snow blowing INTO the house from a snowstorm in January!.. It was crazy!)

5)Bryan is almost finished all the bunk beds he's been working on in the past 2 months... they look AMAZING! I'll post pictures soon!

I received an e-mail today with interesting tips... I think I'll post a little each time I actually post...

Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it.
Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster.

A boring week sounds good...that's what I'm having! So the banana tips are great...I hate those stringy things! You'd think if we WERE so closely related to the primates that we would have figured out the "peel from the bottom" thing by now! So how does "optomist" soccer work - everyone is a winner?
